Missions have various tasks measured by player accuracy. In daily challenges, the player needs to collect letters that constitute a word related to the game, such as "score" and "jump" also known as "word hunt".
Items, such as a hoverboard (which could be used by double tapping on screen), allow the character to avoid collisions and last about 30 seconds.ĭaily Challenges and Season Hunts give rewards for unique movements throughout gameplay. A power jumper provides combustion by launching up the character, a jetpack gives the ability to fly, a coin magnet attracts coins on the track, super sneakers give the ability to jump higher, and a score multiplier multiplies the rate at which the score counts. The player can collect various items such as coins, keys, score multipliers, super sneakers, jetpacks, magnets, mystery boxes and power jumpers. A crash results in a game over, but the player can continue running by using keys, or watching an ad. By swiping rapidly as speed increases, more points can be acquired. While running, the player can swipe up, down, left, or right to avoid crashing into oncoming obstacles especially moving subways, poles, tunnel walls and barriers. The game starts by tapping the touchscreen, while Jake (the game's starter character) or any other character sprays graffiti on a subway, and gets caught in the act by the inspector and his dog, who starts chasing the character. Subway Surfers is an endless runner video game.

They can also jump on top of the trains and surf with hoverboards to evade capture until the character crashes into an obstacle, gets caught by the inspector, or gets hit by a train, at which point the game ends. Many outfits were posted by Peachycream with some from Jaro Mlinarj, Mina Pop Outfit, and Bianca the Cursed. She continues to make the Alternate Outfits (along with Bianca the Cursed) to this very day (including by request of her friend Little Miss Livie). Peachycream later returned to the Subway Surfers Wiki to continue with the Alternate Outfits just before New Years 2020 when she made Jake, Tricky, Brody, Carmen, and Izzy. Peachycream stopped and took a break from the Alternate Outfits post after making Edison in March 2018 (even though the post was not deleted).
Mina Pop Outfit later made an Alternate Drawings post based on the outfits. Peachycream made tons of designs as she uses them based on the characters' personalities. She then posted up more characters with alternative outfits as well as 3 other members (such as Jaro Mlinarj from vk.com, Mina Pop Outfit, and Bianca the Cursed (formally Pusheen 101)). Peachycream started the post with Harumi and stated that Harumi loves Harajuku fashion and posted up Lolita fashion and accessories. It all started on Mawhen Subway Surfers Wiki member and Subway Surfers Fanon Wiki admin Peachycream (who was 17 at that time) came up with the idea as she had interest in fashion and decided to make a forum post about it.
